REVIEW OF THE CURRENT CAMPAIGN IHES, AT THE AVANT-GARDE OF SCIENCE
The silent phase of IHES, at the Avant-Garde of science , the third IHES fundraising campaign, began in 2015. It was officially launched in 2018, the year of the Institute's 60th anniversary, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Alix and Marwan Lahoud building in the presence of Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
Despite an ambitious fundraising goal 50 million broken down into private support ( 30 million) and institutional support ( 20 million) the results at the end of 2020 are very promising with 38.5 million already raised.
The campaign is supported by a committee chaired by Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, Director and CEO of BNP Paribas, and Philippe Camus, Senior Advisor at Evercore, Chairman of the Board at Aptamir, both of whom are passionate about mathematics.
The Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques is a foundation officially recognized as being in the public interest according to French law. Donations made by French tax residents to IHES
generate tax benefits for the donor. They also represent a major encouragement for our researchers, thanks to your trust and support.
