HUGO DUMINIL COPIN worked on emerging symmetries in two dimensional models. More precisely, he completed a long program dedicated to the proof of rotation invariance for a large class of planar percolation models at criticality. Hugo Duminil-Copin also spent time deriving scaling relations for these models. These identities enable mathematicians and physicists to link certain critical exponents to each other.
